Matthew Thornton VP, Public Affairs & Communications with OREA Innovative, passionate and dedicated are only some of the traits Matthew exhibits in his pursuit of strengthening and enhancing the Canadian housing industry on all levels of political relations. Since July 2008, Matthew has been an actively strong leader in the role of Director for OREA’s government relations department. As of 2017, he has been appointed Vice President, Public Affairs & Communications with OREA. Matthew will be discussing proposed changes coming out of the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act (REBBA) review, which aims to strengthen customer protection and increase professionalism in the industry. He will also discuss the future direction of OREA, including its strong advocacy in issues which directly affect the industry and our communities. |
