Member FAQ: Discontinuation of ITSO Access
Why is BDAR not renewing with ITSO after December 31, 2025?
BDAR has determined that ITSO no longer delivers the value it did when BDAR joined. The ITSO MLS® service provides access to a much smaller portion of Ontario’s listing data then it once did, and its management style has caused unnecessary disruption. BDAR is committed to MLS® solutions that strengthens your business.
Why are you making this announcement now?
BDAR wants to provide Members with ample opportunity to make decisions for their business and this announcement provides you will 3 months to consider your unique needs and plan for your 2026 needs. BDAR is focused on transparency so you can make informed choices with confidence.
What happens between now and December 31, 2025?
Everything continues as normal, and BDAR Members will continue to maintain ITSO access for the balance of this year. Members should know that BDAR has seen a significant increase in the number of listing infractions being flagged by ITSO staff. We will provide tips on keeping compliant, will highlight rules which are commonly an issue, and will continue to assist you to meet compliance requirements until the service ends.
What happens if I want to discontinue with ITSO?
If you already purchased ITSO for this quarter and wish to discontinue, please contact BDAR Member Services at membership@bdar.ca or 705-739-4650 ext. 105 for assistance.
What does this mean for my business in 2026?
From January 1st, 2026 onward you will not have access to ITSO MLS® system through your membership with BDAR. Should you require access to ITSO you can explore options available through the remaining participants of ITSO which are Cornerstone and Brantford only.
