ORWP UPDATE: September 14, 2023
Today we are announcing that Comprehensive Benefit Solutions (CBS), our ORWP Program Administrator and Broker, is offering a service to all Members to help you get your technical questions answered by their team of insurance experts. Whether you have questions about coordinating your benefits, which drugs are covered under the plan, or how to increase your travel insurance, you can reach out to ProgramAdministrator@orwp.ca.
As the current Insurance Broker for the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board, Mississauga Real Estate Board, Brampton Real Estate Board, and Windsor-Essex County Association of REALTORS®, CBS is well-versed to support Members in answering any questions that come their way.
In addition to CBS, we're also working with four top-notch insurance carriers who are providing the insurance and healthcare components of the Program:
Leading up to January 1, 2024, all insurance-related inquiries will be managed by CBS at ProgramAdministrator@orwp.ca. Following the Program's launch, you will be able to reach out to the insurance carriers directly.

Ontario Realtor® Wellness Program (ORWP) Update
On June 20, Member Board representatives from across the province met to vote on the Ontario REALTOR® Wellness Program (ORWP)- a proposed benefits program that would provide insurance and wellness coverage to all Ontario REALTORS®.
I am pleased to share the ORWP was approved, with nearly 80% of the votes from 34 Member Boards across the province voting in favour of the Program. This means that as of January 1, 2024, all REALTORS® in Ontario will now benefit from coverage for:
- Healthcare
- Prescription Drugs
- Paramedical practitioners (massage, physiotherapy, chiropractic care, etc.)
- Medical services and supplies (casts, hearing aids, orthotics, etc.)
- Out-of-Country Emergency Medical Travel Insurance
- Critical Illness Insurance
- Life-Insurance
- Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
- A Member and Family Assistance and Virtual Healthcare Program by Maple
- Access to the Headspace app
The ORWP will also provide additional options for Members looking for enhanced coverage at their own expense. Further, REALTOR® family members, Board/Association Staff, and Brokerage staff will also be able to enroll in the Program at an additional cost as of January 1, 2024.
