I write today to let you know the integration between the Barrie & District Association of REALTORS® (BDAR) and the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB) is well underway.

As promised, we are delivering on our commitment to support you during this transition period by putting in place the best technology and tools you rely on to do your job as real estate professionals.

As of April 1, BDAR is an affiliated corporation with TRREB. Both BDAR and TRREB will continue on an affiliated corporation basis and will maintain their respective board status with the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) and Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) with complementary service offerings.

This is a big step towards achieving a more seamless service for clients, reaching a broader audience for listings, and increasing opportunities to scale and grow your businesses.

 ACTIVATE, AUTHENTICATE, AND EDUCATE 

The next steps for Members include:

• Paying your TRREB Member invoice by April 15, 2023
• Completing your TRREB Member application and beneficiary form by April 15, 2023
• Setting up your Clareity Authenticator app
• Accessing TRREB MLS® System and tools
• Attending training
• Test and Try REALM™ and Matrix

If you are already a member of TRREB, start at Step 5 and attend some of the training offerings featuring both the REALM™ and Matrix front-end platforms! 

As a primary Member of TRREB, you will have three months to test Matrix and REALM™ before selecting your front end of choice by June 30th. Throughout the month of April, you can access training online and in person through the Simcoe County Regional Hub of TRREB.

• April 20 at 10 am. – Matrix™ Training (Virtual on Zoom)
• April 21 at 1 pm. – REALM™ Training (In-Person at 676 Veterans Drive)
• April 24 at 1 pm. – REALM™ Training (In-Person at 676 Veterans Drive)
• April 25 at 1 pm. – REALM™ Training (Virtual on Zoom)
• May 4 at 10 am. – Matrix™ Training (In-Person at 676 Veterans Drive)
